IN CLASS

So...after studying your pronunciation last week,

how did your speaking improve?  Can your listeners better understand you?

Let's find out! 

 

1.  Sit with your Partner (see list below)

2.  Listen to your Partners Podcast -5 favorite things.  Listen no more than twice.

3.  Then, take turns RETELLing your partner about THEIR 5 favorite things.  DID you get it right?

4.  Discuss the correct and incorrect information.

If time:  Full class or small group discussion on the following topics as prep for next Monday's class:

 

1.  What movie rating systems or guidelines are used in different countries to determine to appropriateness for different audiences? In the United States, the classifications of "G," "PG," "PG-13," "R," and "NR-17"

2.  What rating systems are used to rank the quality of movies? We use a  STAR system (higher number of stars=better movie).


3.  What makes a good movie? Consider the acting, special effects, plot, supporting cast, and music score. Discuss your opinions on the topic.
